Mount Ruapehu

Mount Ruapehu is an active volcano at the southern end of the Taupo Volcanic Zone in the Tongariro National Park. It is the largest active volcano in New Zealand and one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Ruapehu is the site of the North Island's only major skifields.
